If you work nights — nurse, paramedic, baker, security, factory shift, ER, IT on-call — your body fights sleep at the wrong time of day. This isn’t a meditation built for evening anxiety. It’s built for the specific impossibility of falling asleep at 9am while the neighbour mows the lawn.
Music has tempo and key changes that interrupt daytime sleep cycles. A continuous low drone with brown noise underneath is the closest audio gets to “weighted blanket” — masking household sound without rewarding the conscious mind for staying awake.
